Arun Sharma

Arun Sharma is MDSNe’s operations guru, having an impressive background in driving and sustaining profitable growth at San Lucas Medical (SLM), a 3 year old startup that is now one of the leading medical publishers in Europe and Asia.  Having founded SLM with Seun Moses, Arun was responsible for crafting SLM’s numerous strategic collaborations, partnerships and relationships with over 500+ European and Asian media partners and channels.

His personal mantra, “In life you sometimes have to follow to lead” underlies his approach to business, learning the basics from the ground up and understanding all aspects of an organization.  Graduating from the University of Westminster, he started his career in healthcare at Informa Healthcare, where he was responsible for key startup projects, guiding and developing them into now well recognized flagship products within the publishing industry.  This led him into various senior and C-level roles at several publishing houses where he helped create numerous, wildly profitable educational platforms that addressed key educational needs and gaps of healthcare providers.

Arun is a passionate traveller, having travelled extensively all over the world in both his work and personal life.  He’s already planning his next venture, to South America, one of the few places left on his list.
